Sometimes a simple yes or no answer to an alarm is not precise enough. From now on, when triggering an alarm, you have the option of defining various comments as additional information after the YES/NO response. These comments can be selected by your alarm recipients via app and/or email. You can view the results via app, monitor, web view, and report.
Example:
- In certain situations, ask questions such as “Do you currently have an IT emergency?” and provide yes comments such as “Email not working,” “Web access faulty,” “Email and web access not working.”
- Ask about availability for shifts or other assignments: “Who can take shifts for event XY?” The answer YES can be supplemented with information about which shift is possible, e.g., shift 1 - 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.; shift 2 - 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.; All shifts
- Emergency personnel can choose whether to come to the equipment depot/location or drive directly to the scene.
Under Configuration → Alerting, you can create comments to make selection easier or set them as the default for all alarms.
