Communication is essential in critical situations. To make your coordination processes even more efficient during emergencies or regular operations, we are introducing our new Conferencing Extension. You can now centrally manage and control conference calls directly via the GroupAlarm platform.

This update is specifically designed for organizations that require a reliable solution for their communication channels. Whether for major incidents, professional incident management, or regular decentralized meetings—with the new extension, you can quickly and securely bring all key stakeholders together at a virtual table.

Flexibility and Control for Your Crisis Communication

By activating the extension, you will have access to up to five conference rooms per organization, which can be set up in just a few steps. To help you maintain a clear overview even during major incidents or cross-departmental meetings, each room can accommodate up to 100 participants.

Security and targeted control are our top priorities. Access to the conference rooms is protected by a six-digit PIN. Additionally, you can flexibly adjust the status of the rooms: An “active” room allows new participants to join, whereas an “inactive” room does not permit any dial-ins. Custom greeting and rejection announcements can be configured to match these room statuses. To ensure smooth communication within international teams, the system supports English, German, and French.

Full Overview During the Call and Smart Automation

As an administrator, you maintain control even while the conference is ongoing. A real-time dashboard continuously shows you who is participating in the call. If necessary, you have the ability to remove specific individuals from the room or to end all active calls simultaneously. Participants can easily mute themselves in the event of background noise simply by pressing the “0” key on their telephone keypad.

The extension also includes seamless Flow integration. This allows conference rooms to be directly incorporated into your existing automation processes, ensuring that the appropriate communication room is instantly and automatically prepared whenever a critical incident occurs.

The Conferencing Extension is available immediately and can be added to your existing organization for 30 euros per month.

Getting started

Simply activate the extension in your organization’s settings and create your first conference room. Afterward, you only need to share the generated phone number and the PIN with your team. Participants can then call the number directly, dial in using the PIN, and join the conference immediately.
