Scheduled trigger in flow (cronjob)

The new flow trigger cronjob enables the automation of recurring manual tasks. Up to five cronjobs can be set up per organization to automate processes that run at fixed time intervals.

Possible areas of application include:

  • Regular test alarms: Automated triggering of test alarms at set intervals (e.g. daily, weekly or monthly)
  • Sending regular reminders (e.g. via email or messenger) to:
    • inspection deadlines for equipment or vehicles
    • upcoming shift changes
    • necessary data maintenance
    • updating personal availability
  • System monitoring: Checking interfaces to external systems to automatically trigger an alarm in the event of an error

The use of cronjobs optimizes administrative processes and increases efficiency by performing repetitive tasks without manual intervention. The cronjobs require the „Scheduled tasks“ extension, which is subject to a charge.
