The use of the emergency call app is completely free for all members of the German Firefighters Association and their families.
You have two options: Either you use the SOS button directly in the app on your smartphone. Alternatively, you can use a compatible hardware button (available from Feuerwehrversand) to quickly trigger the alarm without a phone.

The system alerts the group you have defined. This can be your fire department colleagues or family members. They will then immediately receive a push notification with your location.
No. In this free cooperation, the app focuses exclusively on digital self-protection and the emergency call function. The regular additional functions of GroupAlarm for station organization are not included in this version.

However, the contact data provided during the order may be used for important information from GroupAlarm and the German Firefighters Association (DFV). The organizations can be viewed for audit purposes by GroupAlarm and the DFV.
