GroupAlarm PNA – Reliable Emergency Call with Indoor Localization

The modular personal emergency signal system for immediate help in critical situations. Compact, extremely robust, and seamlessly integrated into the GroupAlarm platform.

How the GroupAlarm PNA works

The GroupAlarm PNA system is based on a sophisticated interaction of portable emergency call buttons, intelligent localization beacons, and the GroupAlarm cloud platform:

  1. Triggering: An emergency call button (GAB 10) worn on the wrist, lanyard, or belt triggers a voluntary alarm at the push of a button.
  2. Localization: Wirelessly installed localization beacons (GAB-3) detect the real-time location in the building via BLE mesh technology.
  3. Transmission: Signals are transmitted via WLAN or Ethernet to the server, which precisely calculates the position.
  4. Alarming: GroupAlarm automatically alerts the defined emergency forces and displays the exact location in the notification.

GroupAlarm Emergency Call Button (GAB 10)

A compact, extremely easy-to-wear trigger for employees:

  • Featherlight & Compact: Only 11 grams in weight with a diameter of 38 mm.
  • Waterproof & Robust: IP66 protection class (water and dust protected) for tough operating conditions.
  • Long Operating Time: Up to 60 days of battery life and convenient magnetic charging technology.
  • Extended Functions: Integrated NFC functionality and motion sensor technology.

GroupAlarm Localization Beacons (GAB-3)

The beacons form the basis for seamless location determination in the building:

  • Wide Coverage: Up to 70 meters scan radius per beacon.
  • Flexible Power Supply: Available as a USB variant (GAB-3-USB), battery-operated version (GAB-3-BAT with LiPo battery), or via PoE Ethernet (GAB-3-ETH).
  • Modern Radio Standards: Bluetooth LE 5.0 and WLAN (802.11 b/g/n, 2.4 GHz).
