To the online shopGroupAlarm Box Standard: Alarm, Signal, Acknowledge
Ideally suited as an intelligent announcement system, for active shooter and first responder alarms, or for integration with existing smart home systems. The standard version of the Box is designed as an alerting and feedback unit. It is integrated into the GroupAlarm Cloud via WLAN and offers the following core functions:
Clear Voice Announcements
An integrated 5-watt loudspeaker (Visaton-Downfire) ensures intelligible speech output and direct acoustic alarming in the room.
Visual Warning
A circumferential RGB LED ring optically signals incoming alarms and can be used as orientation light if required.
Interactive Feedback
Alarms can be quickly acknowledged directly at the Box via yes/no feedback using the capacitive touch fields on the top.
HomeAssistant Integration
The Box can be integrated into Home Assistant via HACS (Home Assistant Community Store). Incoming alarms and feedback (Yes/No) can thus be transmitted to the Smart Home, for example, to automatically control lighting or the garage door in the event of an alarm.
Note: The Standard Box is powered by the mains and requires an active WLAN connection for reception.
Preview: The GroupAlarm Box Pro with integrated fallback level
For areas with the highest demands on reliability, the GroupAlarm Box Pro will soon follow. It expands the standard functions with an independent fallback level for power or network failures:
Integrated Battery
A built-in battery ensures uninterrupted operation for several hours, even if the local power grid fails.
GroupAlarm MESH
If the internet connection fails, the Pro Box seamlessly switches to the independent LoRa radio network (868 MHz). This ensures that alarm messages reach their destination even in the event of a complete network collapse.
Alarm triggering via NFC
Authorized persons (e.g., school principals, security officers, or incident commanders) can securely and verifiedly trigger alarms (e.g., active shooter or evacuation alarms) directly at the Box using authorized NFC tags or cards.
Announcements
Individual announcements even without an alarm – enter directly in the web interface. All selected Boxes immediately play the voice announcement without the possibility of acknowledgment.
Individual Housings
Both model variants are manufactured using a professional 3D printing process from durable PETG plastic. This production approach makes it possible to adapt the Boxes individually to your requirements even with small quantities – for example, in your corporate colors or with your own logo.
