Operational readiness is a critical factor. To provide our customers with an overview of the current availability of their participants even before an alarm is triggered, we are introducing the new metric Coverage. This feature enables the definition of a minimum number of available participants that must be assigned to a label and visualizes the current status in GroupAlarm.
Configuration of the Minimum Requirement
The basis for the coverage metric is the definition of a minimum necessary number of participants per label. A new, optional input field is now available for this purpose in the configuration of Labels and Smart Labels.
Participants are considered available if they are assigned to the respective label and are globally / organization-specifically considered available. A label that is currently paused by the participant also counts as unavailable. This configuration initially allows for the precise entry of the necessary staffing level.
Display and Calculation of Coverage
The calculated relative coverage is displayed along with the absolute deviation in a new column in the list view of the Labels and Smart Labels, provided a minimum number has been defined.
Relative Coverage Coverage is greater than or equal to 100 %. The minimum requirement is met or exceeded.
Coverage is less than 100 % - there is undercoverage.
Absolute Deviation To better interpret the percentage value, the absolute deviation is also displayed. The warning ⚠️ is added if the absolute reserve is 0 or less, to indicate a tight or insufficient staffing level, even if the relative value is still green in the case of 100 %.
This new feature provides an essential metric for Operational Readiness Monitoring, allowing you to proactively identify and address staffing and resource bottlenecks before operational readiness is compromised.
